Over the past few months I contacted all 90+ guesthouses ("pension"), small and large hotels, hotel-restaurants, motels etc. in Valkenburg I could find addresses of... with a request to supply their current information and prices. This to enable you to find a nice and
affordable place to stay for the "banknote-week-end". BTW Prices... some do, some don't include tourist tax. So small price differences of a 1,30 Euros a day are possible.  As I expected : not all hotels in Valkenburg see the need for their listing on this web-site. So only those who support the event, responded and supplied the info needed are are listed here... Maybe some will follow later... From not responding I cannot tell if they are simply not interested in you as a guest or fully booked already anyhow, because e.g. they always have coach-groups all year on. Enjoy your stay in Valkenburg.  Since it is impossible to list the hotels etc. in a sequence that will please everybody: alphabetical, rating, prices, distance or anything else, they will be published in the sequence of reception of the data! ... First come, first serve! So that does not mean that the top ones listed are the best, the cheapest or the nearest located. The info as published is written with the greatest care based on the info given by the various hotels... The Organisation cannot be held responsible for any errors...  BTW: ALMOST ALL listed accomodations are on a walkable distance, max. 10-15 minutes, from the "Polfermolen"... If not, I will make a notice in the listing. This means that - if coming by car - you can leave the car at the hotel! |
